A North West luxury holiday home operator is expanding its popular North Wales destination with the backing of a seven-figure funding package from HSBC.
Wilmslow–based Natural Retreats is using the funding from the bank to expand Nature’s Point, its existing 10-cottage site on the Llŷn Peninsula, situated on the edge of Nefyn Bay. The development will see the construction of 25 luxury self-catering holiday homes, ranging from two-bed apartments to five-bed cottages, which will all overlook the Irish Sea. The business expects to welcome its first guests to the development in Autumn 2018.
As a result of the expansion, the business expects to grow its annual revenue by 25 per cent and create up to 10 full and part time new jobs over the next 12 months. In addition, 75 per cent of the contractors used during the development phase are local.

Established in 2006, Natural Retreats operates several holiday and leisure sites across the UK, including destinations in John O’Groats, Yorkshire Dales, Cairngorm Ski Resort in Aviemore, Lews Castle in Stornaway and Trewhiddle in Cornwall. The business welcomed over 200,000 holiday makers and visitors in 2017.
